Charlie is the Managing Partner at CBMultifamily, PLLC, a Private Equity consulting firm that has transitioned into a Securities law firm assisting investors who have been defrauded. He is an attorney and has been a member of the Florida Bar in good standing since 1996. He began his career as a Prosecutor for the State Attorney’s Office where he successfully prosecuted thousands of defendants. Charlie practiced regulatory law (environmental and private equity) for several firms, including McGuireWoods, in Jacksonville and Washington, D.C.
In the private sector, Charlie was a co-founding principal and general counsel of a private equity firm that managed over $100 million in multifamily assets. His investor and securities law experience includes assuring compliance with applicable U.S. securities laws, working closely with high net worth investors, wealth managers and investment bankers, as well as managing outside counsel.
Charlie is active at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and Day School in Jacksonville, Florida. He has served on the Alumni Board at The Episcopal School of Jacksonville where he was involved in numerous charitable activities. He is a lifelong Jacksonville resident and is married with three children.
